“Meke” Is a shortened way of saying Tu Meke, the Maori word for “too much” and Pāpā (Dad) is what the design means.
We have also used the Mangopare design and placed this underneath, which represents the Hammerhead shark and is a symbol of the protector, strength, courage and power. All to pay tribute to our fathers on their special day
